During our Diversity week one young man stood out as showing empathy, tolerance and acceptance of others. As a result we decided to create a new role in school, Diversity Champion. Although still an evolving role, the Diversity Champion will work closely with Mrs Pollard and Ann Foxley-Johnson around Anti-Bullying, Diversity and Tolerance. In 2016-17 our Diversity Champion was Jack in Year 6.
Staff are now on the look out for a new Diversity Champion for the new school year. It doesn't have to be a Year 6 pupil, just someone who is able to show a tolerance and ability to empathise with others. Is this you?
