Nursery

Our nursery children attend school during the morning session 8.45-11.45.

Mrs Adams is our wonderful teacher and Mrs Brammer (Learning mentor) and Mrs Pollard (HLTA) support us each morning.

Some of our learning this year has included: sending birthday cards to the Queen, learning about the colours in a rainbow and making and eating soup from the vegetables in our school garden.

During the Spring term; Mrs Greenfingers came in to talk to us about her garden and planting seeds. We all planted a bean seed to take home and watch grow.

This half term our topic has been 'Traditional Tales'.We have turned our role play into a cottage, which has been Mr Wolf's cottage, Jack's cottage and the 3 Bears' cottage.

Summer Term

In the Summer term we have been building. This is linked to our new build and being able to witness first hand the building works as they happen. We have met the builders, had a look at their vehicles and been to see them doing some of the building.

We have programmed the beebots to travel to different houses.

We have been having more PE sessions with Mr Smith. We have worked on our agility, balance and control and are now investigating team games such as playing with the parachute. We really enjoy these sessions and are looking forward to the Foundation Stage Sports Day.
