Learning about Anti-Bullying

Please look at the information below which shows what we do in school to try and prevent bullying.

During the academic year 2016-17, during Anti-bullying Week, the children in Year 5 created a 'Herocrow'. This was a superhero with the powers to prevent bullying, stand up for what is right and use their 'Power for Good'.

Some of our older children have worked with Ann Foxley-Johnson to develop their skills of resilience in social situations and build their self esteem.

During 2017-18's Anti-bullying week, we wore Odd Socks to celebrate diversity. Our Ultimate Upstanders presented their Anti-bullying video at the Rotherham Anti-bullying showcase at the New York Stadium.

Please look below at the child friendly anti-bullying policies, produced by the school's anti-bullying ambassadors, The Ultimate Upstanders.

During the 2018-19 Anti-bullying week, we again visited the Rotherham Anti-bullying showcase at the New York Stadium and wore Odd Socks. We also welcomed Mrs Foxley-Johnson to school; she did an assembly around the theme, 'Choose Respect'.
